Hi, I'm having problems with my belkin wlan card on windows 7 64bit.
I have tried what seems like hundreds of different driver/method combos all to no avail.
My WLAN card is a Belkin F5d7000 E, version 1100ea.
It has an atheros AR2413A - 001 chipset.
I really can't figure out where I'm going wrong, I've tried to run in compatability mode on pretty much every setting, always ran as administrator, and am fresh out of ideas.
If someone could help me out I'd be eternally grateful.
Regards, Louis.

Found on the Belkin Website under Windows 7 Support

These drivers will install on 32 bit operating systems but not on 64 bit systems, which is the normal and expected behavior.

This Card has the same chipset, maybe the driver's for this card will work

I had a similar problem with a Linksys WMP54G Wireless card. This card has a Ralink chipset. I had to point to the "Ralink Wireless LAN Card V2" driver because Windows or Linksys would not setup this card automatically.

Thanks for the quick reply, tried it but it failed as well, checked vista SP2 and ran as admin on the driver from http://www.smc.com/index.cfm?event=d...serPartNumber=. Just wondering though, am I limited to a 32 bit OS if I want use this card? I mean they are only about £20 for a new one delivered so I don't mind buying one if I really need to. But If not I'd rather get it working. It's very frustrating especially since my vista is somewhat screwed and needs reinstalling (it got a massive bomb of viruses).
Thanks again, Louis.
