Windows7 Sleep/ Change Rez Issue

I have been running Windows7 RC since thew day it came out on a old 19" CRT monitor. Recently it went bad so I purchased a 24" LCD but i find with the new monitor only that Windows7 wont come out of sleep mode and when changeing rez the explorer freezes up the monitor works perfect with windowsXP pro Sp3 it seems to be win7 only. Any Ideas? tghe monitor is an Auria

Edit: damn 59hrtz error....suposed to be at 60 and it was at 59 I found info in a earlyer post about this
anyone else having this iusses should check to see that there refesh is set to 60 and not 59
