That is a very confusing post Paul. From what I gather I will be
downgrading my OS or will there just be a bit of trickery involved? In
the end the OP decided to do a clean install and no one verified that
this actually worked. Correct? That program was "assumed" to make a
registry change but again nothing was verified. Am I just totally
confused and you actually understand what was happening or should I
just go for it and see what happens.

Start the Program and select the Version you wand to Downgrade. Then
insert you Install Disk you buy and click Install. Then select Upgrade
and Windows will downgrade your Windows Enterprise Edition.

I am thinking that "Windows Enterprise Edition" can be substituted
with Windows 7 Home Premium? Then I can do and additional repair
install that will upgrade to Ultimate?
I must need to take a smart pill before I actually try this, right?
