p.s. using google translate once in a while is fun, but most people here
are English speakers :-P

Translated from Danish to English (thanks to translate.google.com) this
says:

"I tried Live Mail and I was severely disappointed when I normally use
Outlook Express 6 and I think that Live Mail has the same service as OE6 is
Does anyone have tried Live Mail '. Foreks I can not get live mail to
sort news items by date. There are some differences between the 2
programnmer
there seems very annoying, what do you do?."

I can't reproduce the problem with the sorting of news items. I configured a
news account using the same parameters (eg server name) as for Windows Live
Mail on Vista, and then subscribed to a newsgroup
(alt.windows7.general -this newsgroup). When I got a list of news items, I
clicked on the column heading "Sent" and this correctly sorted the items in
date order. Similarly, when I clicked on Subject or From I got the same
listed correctly sorted by the appropriate attribute.

Actually it seems to do a reasonable job on Danish<->English, at least
if you traslate back what you just translated, the meaning seems largely
intact.

When I push on the send button Live.Mail sort the messages by date, but in
between there is a threads dated a month before or to take another error if
I want killfile somebody sometimes it works, but they all turn up again
later or they dont dissapear at all.

Hi, P.N.

That's correct. In OE (and Windows Mail? I don't remember), message
threads were sorted by the Sent date of the first message in the thread. So
a new message in an old thread might easily be missed by the reader. WLM
now sorts the threads by the date of the LATEST message in the thread. So a
year-old thread that got a new message yesterday will jump to the head of
the list - the whole thread, not just that latest post.

Some like the old way; some like the new - after the initial surprise. ;^}

Also, the translation was actually intelligible.

That doesn't happen with every language I try.
