I downloaded the 2011 version of Live Mail (Build 15.4.3502.09.22) a couple of days ago. Gosh - what a lot of extra options compared with the previous version. (Bring back Outlook Express!)

I have some 10 groups set up in my Contact List each with a "code" for example TC = Tennis Committee and then I have set up an address called Tennis Committee with my own email address. So I send an email to Tennis Committee and in the bcc box, put TC. This is partly for security and partly to save having all names printing out on emails.

I receive a number of "round robin" emails from companies (which I want) and in the list of emails in my Inbox, the "To" column, quite rightly, shows my name (or email address).

However - and this is the issue after this somewhat protracted background - in the Message Header in the Reading Pane, the "To" is the name of one of my groups e.g. Tennis Committee.

As it happens, I deleted one group name this morning as it was no longer needed and, instantly, the "To" in the header picked up another group name. Neither of these names are the first or last in my address book.

Can anyone shed any light on this anomaly, please?
