I've been getting a "Host Process Rundll32 Has Stopped Working" error for the last week when browsing files on my computer. I've restarted plenty of times but nothing seems to work.

Any ideas?

You'll need to look in the Event Manager for a more detailed explaination of the crash, as it could be down to a few different things.

Do you have Nero installed, as this seems to be a common problem for some people?

Yeah, it came with my DVD writer drive. Should I uninstall it?

You don't need to get that drastic, as there's a solution - thanks to MS Technet forums

Quote:
1. Go to computer, your main drive, program files, common files, Ahead, DSfilter.
2. Rename "NeroVideoProc.ax" to say "1NeroVideoProc.ax"
3. Rename "NeVideo.ax" to say "1NeVideo.ax"
4. Reboot
5. Problem fixed.
