how do I keep windos7 from going to sleep all the time....I have found how to do it..the computer is just bought......HP PAVILLION SLIMLINE s5310......pokey

Change your computer to the high performance power plan as per this guide: Change Power Plan

Start -> Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound-> Power Options -> Change when the computer sleeps (on the left pane).
