Hi,

I "un-installed" IE8 and then re-installed it. When I un-installed it, Windows gave me a warning that some Windows features may be removed as well.

So I re-installed IE8 and noticed a couple of features never made it back.

You know those minimize, restore, and close (X) buttons on the top right of the screens? I used to have a feature there that would allow me to quickly move one active window from one monitor to the next, and another feature where I could 'spread' a whole active application across two monitors. Well, both those features have disappeared all together.

How do I get those features back!? LOL

That feature is a result of a program called UltraMon, some video drivers, or another third-party program unrelated to IE8. There are too many programs that offer this feature to know which one it is, but it's definitely not IE8 or a stock Windows feature.

Thanks Thrax, you are correct.

I never has Vista nor Win 7, so I assumed it was a Windows feature.

It was UltraMon... all good now!
