Windows 8 Beta The Futuristic System, Microsoft has made it again. Millions of people are now expecting and excited to get hold of the company’s new operating system, Windows 8 beta. This new operating system offers a lot of new features that users can enjoy. This new features are moving the operating systems into a next level.

Windows 8 beta is scheduled to be released sometime in fall 2012. The company has released a Developer Preview of the new operating system that’s why a lot of people are looking forward to the beta version. Windows 8 is designed for desktop, tablet and other touch slates. It is a unified operating system for all platforms making it the first of its kind.

Windows 8 beta helps the users multitask with the improved user interface. It is redesigned to a Metro-style one, which gives functionality and simplicity, packed in one. The user interface of Window 8 can be manipulated by touch, mouse or keyboard. Windows 8 makes it possible for users to view two applications at the same time, which is new for tablet operating systems.

Another lovely feature of Windows 8 beta is the Windows Store. To compete with Apple, Microsoft has now an application store where developers can post their Metro-style applications and sell them to Microsoft users. Now, users can enjoy shopping for their applications may it be for their tablet, desktop or smartphone.

Windows 8 also boots faster than its predecessor Windows 7. A lot of people were impressed with Windows 7 but a lot will be amazed with Windows 8 beta. Booting your system will only take about 6 seconds unlike the usual 30-40 seconds boot time. No more waiting time for Windows 8.

Windows 8 beta also supports multiple monitors. Users also have the option to have different desktop images and backgrounds for each display. Task bars are also customizable for each display.

Another new feature that Windows 8 has is the Windows to Go. This feature allows Windows 8 to boot from a USB device, which is called Live USB. This device can upload programs, settings and files and works on USB 2.0 and USB 3.0. This makes the system handy and useful especially to those who need to go to different places. As long as the computer has Windows 7 or 8, Live USB will run smoothly.

To help the device maximize its capabilities, Windows 8 only uses less than 300 MB of RAM. This prevents the virtual memory to run low especially if there are many applications that are running. The applications are always on to eliminate the time spent on launching different applications.

Windows 8 beta looks like Windows Phone 7 at first glance but it is more powerful than the latter. It can run on different platforms making it a unified operating system for all. This is a big leap in the computer world since operating systems are usually designed depending on the device. Users can now access their files and settings anywhere with this new Microsoft operating system Windows 8 Beta.
