Windows 7 Starter on my netbook hp black screen?

Hi everyone, I'm brand new and I have a problem. I have a HP netbook little one 10" and the windows starter 7 loads up to a black screen. I can use ctrl alt del but I dont know what to do? I try resetting and my netbook only has usb ports so I don't know what should I do?

Please help as I have a lot of work done on this little one thank you!!!!!

Have you tried booting into safe mode to try at least to get your work to a safe storage?

As an option try to use CTRL+ALT+DEL and then go to File\New Tas (run) and enter explorer.exe to try reload the desktop.

Is your Netbook updated?

Try, using the previous technique, to run ieplorer.exe and navigate to the windows update site to update yout PC.
