Windows 7 Search box missing...

hi... m enjoying windows 7..
now problem is initially wen i installed Windows7;search option was enable everywhere.. after restarting windows search option is invisible even in folder options...
please help me 2 resolve this problem

Did you disable it in "Windows Programs and Features"?

Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Turn Windows Features on of off. Now tick the "Windows Search" box

hello sir.... but this option is already marked.... n i didn't change any of control panel settings

Do you get search if you press the Windows Key + F on your keyboard ?

this option is also not working..... alert box :'class not registered'

OK, can you run a startup repair ? do you have your Windows 7 installation disk ?

yes i have...wats the procedure? reinstalling OS or wat?

Good, click on the link and you will see how to perform a startup repair in the tutorial (its better then me typing it out ) this may fix your lost search.
