Windows 7 Libraries problem

Here's the scenario:

I have many hundreds of DVD's (12 terabytes or so) stored in folders on a
network. Each folder is named for the movie(s) it contains. Each folder may
contain a single ISO or several ISO's (ViceAcademy.iso, ViceAcademy2.iso
....) or the folder may contain subfolders with IFO's, BUP's and VOB's.

Currently the movie index is maintained on an Excel spreadshet.which is both
cumbersome and error prone.

I'd like to create a Library containing all the movie folders in name
sequence. I can come close, but Windows insists upon grouping the folders by
Location. If I change the "Arrange by:" to anything other than "Folder" I
wind up with a useless list of the contents of all the folders.

My question is:
Is there some way to get the Library facility to give me an alphabetical
list of folder names irrespective of local or network location?

Thanks for your input, it is appreciated.
That seems like a very nice piece of software. Only thing is that I'm lazy.
That solution would require a fair amount of data input; data input that
I've already done for my spreadsheet solution and am not interested in
redoing.

If I could just get the Windows Library facility to pull together a
collection of folders and present them in alphabetical order, it'd be great.
A self-maintaining list. Every day when I copy new DVDs, wherever I happen
to add them, the list of titles would be updated. One entry (creating and
naming the folder to hold the DVD image) would automatically update the list
of titles.

Don't shout me down but wouldn't WMP11 do that for videos as it does for

I dunno, maybe it will.
I can't figure out how to make the view be at the folder level instead of at
the file level.

Where ever possible as in Commercial movies not home made. It gathers
information from the net movie data base
