Windows 7 and Vista Dual Boot Screen and I want to get rid of it!

after installing windows 7 in the same partition in which the vista resides,when i restart i have this windows dual boot screen,but i no longer want my vista,how do i go about it?

and why is my Sleep option in the windows start menu greyed out? there is only Restart,Shut Down,Hibernate,Lock,Swith User options.everything except the Sleep. why

go into control panel
then system click on advanced system settings
click on advanced
where it says start up recovery settings click on settings
then unmark time to display operating system i unmark them both myself
this should solve your problem

Did you install your motherboard drivers, if not this would explain why sleep is disabled.

thank guys.i did all that and now it works. just one more thing how to get rid of all the vista data that spur it to show a dual boot screen.
