Welcome RayHarris to the Windows 7 Forums website!

Have you tried using the Vista drivers from: http://tech.epson.com.au/downloads/c...toR210&SelOS=Y

So don't know if there's even one available...

http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/s...censeoid=17774

run the self extracting file, then browse for *.inf file under the C:\Epson\epson11488_r20....folder while running the printer install wizard.

At least it work for My R200 connected to my other (XP) computer.

SabinMain, there is no indication as to what that file is that you linked to. Is it a driver or what? Drivers are often specific to the make/model of printer as well as to the OS and it's bit-size.

You have an R200 & Sanjay has an R230, you mention an XP computer (probably 32-bit) and has W7 64-bit. So if that is a new driver it isn't likely to work.

I have a windows pc windows 7 64 bit, an old Epson stylus photo 700 unit that I want temporarily want to hook up to my PC. which "generic" drivers could be working for this printer to make it going for a while until I have had my laser printer fixed?
Many thanks!!

Digiteyes, from what I can see the Epson stylus photo 700 will not work in native 64-bit, only 32-bit drivers are available (See Here)

However, if you have a virtual environment with Windows XP then you should be able to install the printer to the virtual environment and use it from inside there.
