I am Revamping an 4 year old comp and have been unable to get it to go "to sleep" had this problem with an earlier Comp. solved it by unticking the resume from sleep box Under Keyboard in device manager..not working this time!!!
Spec...
CPU AMD 4600 x64bit
MB Asus ABN32-SLI Delux
RAM 4x1g Kingmax DDR400
VideoC Nvida GF6600LE
HD 2x125G SATA Raid 0
1x300G IDE
A Drive OEM
Monitor BenQ FP91V
DVD Burner Liteon WSH1635S
OS Win7 RC
Dual boot XP Pro + SP2

Only a few things installed at this stage ..Acronis 11, CPUID CPU-Z, Core Temp.
Everything is working fine Temps 35-50..

Hi ronpeck

Have you check the System BIOS for setting that maybe preventing Windows Power Managment Control?

Glad you got it going.

What is it called when something is blocking our memory?
We all have those days when we need help.
I will be my turn next! - Next week it will be you helping me.
