My ISP settings are correctly filed but WLM seems not to read the correct setting, e.g. for Servers.

From my ISP advised to go Tools, etc but on WLM I cannot find 'Tools'?

How do I make WLM reflect my ISP settings?

With my ISP (Italy's Telecom's Alice adsl), the setting are correct but the user name is theirs, i.e. 'aliceadsl'. Is this what I must type in when creating the folder in WLM?

Many thanks, all suggestions, expertise and teasing accepted!

Hi Carlos, welcome to the forums

Your ISP may be providing instructions for Outlook rather than WLM, so don't worry if you can't find the tools menu - you should be able to add your mail account using the following tutorial : http://explore.live.com/windows-live...il-account-faq. In WLM 2011, just click Accounts > E-mail and then enter your e-mail address and password, it will try to auto-detect the settings.

From what I can tell, all of the settings you need to enter are listed on this page:

http://aiutobusiness.alice.it/inform...030&rel=0.html

The walkthrough is for Outlook 2007, but the settings you need for POP3 servers etc... are all there. I don't think you'll be using "aliceadsl" as your username - it will probably be your e-mail address.
