my 500 gb hard drivein WIN7 is already having 4 partitions (system 199mb ,C 54 GB ,RECOVERY D 20 GB,hp tools 103 mb) n i got 5 part (unallocated 391 gb) after shring C,now whn am trying to partion it ,its converting into dynamic only ,pls provide how can i partition ths unallocated space into 2 BASIC disks

Not an easy job but it can be done.

See this tutorial from SevenForums. See: Method Two This method deals with OEM computers and all the extra partitions they create.
