Will win 7 64 bit license key work on a win 7 32 bit os??

ok so i cannot add the key to my existing 32bit os which has been detected as not genuine..

You'll need to purchase a bona fide edition of Windows 7 in order to get a proper product key.

Where did you buy it?

Unless they changed something, Windows retail copies include both a 32-bit and 64-bit version.

make sure you have a proper config to run 64 bit windows 7 .

Are you saying you have a different product key (from a 64bit version) that is actually different than the key you are currently using on your 32bit system?

if so you can go to
Start Menu\Control Panel\System
at the bottom of the page should be an option "change product key"
click to enter the valid key.

Then go to:
http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/val...displaylang=en

Yes, you can if the new key is a GENUINE key!
