Hi everyone,

I just bought a new laptop already with win7 home premium 32bit (the samsung r580 only shipped with 32bit).

I am thinking of upgrading to win7 ultimate 64bit. But I'm worried that some drivers won't work properly like webcam, touchpad etc.

I upgraded my old XP and Vista 32bit to Win7 64bit, and the webcam etc don't work anymore lol.

Now, if I upgrade from original win7 home 32bit to win7 ultimate 64bit would the same issue arise??? :S cheers all

Go to the laptop maker's website and download the latest Windows 7 64-bit drivers for your computer.

Store them on a thumb drive or an external hard drive or CD-RW drive.

ALWAYS go to the laptop maker's website for your latest drivers unless you know where to go for the specific drivers at the individual hardware websites such a Realtek, nVidia, ATI, Intel etc. That's what I do because sometimes the laptop drivers may be a couple of months out of date.
