I am currently using Win 7 32 bit. I would like to try out Win 7 64 bit. Can I do a install "over the top"?? I'm using the upgrade version. I upgraded from Vista home premium. The Win 7 installation disk is home premium 32 & 64 bit.

To do a 64 bit install you'll have to do a clean or custom install. You CAN do it with and upgrade disk, so don't worry about that.

It's just that you'll have to reinstall all of your software, etc.

If you have more that 3 GB of RAM the 64 bit will use it fully. Also the 64 bit kernel is more secure than the 32 bit.
