Hi

I am having problems loggiing into eduroam (educational roaming network)
at my institute with my portable (win 7)

When I try and connect via 'eduroam' I get the message
"Verisign Trust Network not configured as valid trust anchor"

Can anyone tell me how to do this?

(I could go to the computer centre, but they don't speak English. It is
a Spanish University, don't ask. :-)

That sounds like a Catch-22 situation if ever I found one.
So then, you want wireless access to their online stuff?

Anyway, "Cada loco con su tema" as Joan Manuel Serrat has it.
Try configuring a network as per the details given here;
http://www.it.gu.se/it/guwlan/instru.../winvista%267/

Which one ????

Pick your place, then follow the instructions:
http://www.eduroam.es/instituciones.en.php

This is the English page, change the 'en' to 'es' for the Español page.

Thank you ED - just what I needed. The step-by-step setup of the wifi
network parameters (adjusted to UB specs).

Vic, thank you for the link. I had discovered this page before. The
University is UB (Barcelons). But if you go to their page, you will see
that theg give the necessary parameters, but no step-by-step
instructions for setting these. (I now have that thanks to ED, see
previous message in this thread.) Thanks again.
