i just bought a new sony vaio VGN-NW240F/P, it came with windows 7. when we started the computer up, everything worked normally until it was time to do all the updating. i don't know how long its supposed to take, its been on configuing windows for an hour or so.... and i can't find a way to back out of it to start over. please help.

If its updating, leave it until it finishes, DO NOT DO A HARD RESET (holding power button), are you updating from windows update or vaio update?
