Hi, I have 2.00GB of RAM installed and running windows 7. When i go to system properties it says 2.00gb ram (1.00gb usable)

Any ideas why?

Do you definitely have 2GB of RAM installed (i.e. can you see 2GB in the BIOS)? I've not seen that message before, but I guess if you have a shared graphics card it could lower the usable amount of system memory - but not by 1GB.

I saw a blog post here where someone else has this message, but only 1GB of RAM:
