Have a netbook with XP SP3.
I also have an external (USB) DVD drive/burner.
When I buy the Win 7 upgrade disc any special setting in the BIOS?
In other words during the upgrade (custom install) process, does not the PC reboot a fre times?
So will I have to go into the BIOS and have the DVD drive as the number 1 boot device?

Thx

You would need your BIOS set to Boot from USB or DVD. When you boot, watch for a Boot to DVD question. If you let the timer continue it will skip the DVD and boot normally.
