I have a Dell Studio XPS computer with Windows 7 (SP1)(x64) and two internal
physical hard drives (931gb each) that came with the computer. Reference
the above subject title and the following MS URL
(http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=982018). I am trying to determine if my
computer needs this hotfix.

Any help would be very much appreciated, Sam.

If your disk are 1TBy, most likely they are NOT AF, so no need to apply
the fix.
Check the disk manufacturer web site to find out if they indeed are NOT AF.
