Hi,

I have a C-Drive of 280 GB and with no media files of any sort, almost 180 GB is used up. I have looked everywhere and followed all the standard procedures(uninstall unwanted programs, Disk Cleanup, Defrag), still I can't find where this space is used up. How can I find this out?

Thanks,
Harsha.

Try this software - Disktective

Please note:
I have never used the software and don't know anything about it.

Quote:
Disktective is a freeware utility for Windows (and Linux/wine) to trace used-up disk space on your system. Disktective reports the real size of your directories and the distribution of space inside them.
A directory may contain hundreds of subdirectories each potentially containing thousands files. Simply run Disktective and let the program create a complete report displaying the real sizes of all directories and their containing subdirectories.

Downloaded it, checked it and fixed it. Awesome, Thanks. Wonder why Windows does not provide such an in-built tool.
