Unable to install on VirtualBox (No bootable medium error)

Hello

I am having problem installing Linux Squeeze on VirtualBox. I am pretty sur
that I have the correct settings and all but it will not install

What I noticed though is that if I created 2 hard drives on a Vbox, that i

time I get the no bootable medium error. If the Vbox only has one hard driv
configured, then it lets me load the very same CD

Is this a limitation of the VirtualBox or maybe I am not just doing somethin
write with the settings

You might download from VMWare their free VMWare player.
And make sure that if Linux squeeze is x64, then goto your bios to
enable VT (virutalization switch). Otherwise you'll get the long mode
not supported message.

Of course OpenSuse is now at version 12.1.

Probably not.

When you have the two hard drives, is your Host System CD-ROM drive (the
physical one in your computer, not a virtual one) also listed/mounted for
the virtual machine you want to install Debian Squeeze on? It needs to
be there to be able to boot off your install CD.

Most probably the latter. Download the very thorough VirtualBox manual
and study it.
