uac question

what is it that makes some programs use uac and othres not. for example firefox opens directly without asking permission, many other programs stop and ask permission? i have uac set at default.

becoz while installing firefox (and other softwares) ur system already prompted for UAC thats the reason you already granted permission to that software

You can turn the UAC off. Go to the Start Orb and type: UAC in the search bar.

Open up the UAC and move the slider down all the way to "OFF" then click okay and restart the computer.

Now UAC will no longer annoy you. Don't worry its safe to do this.
