Trying to do backup but I have "corrupted files"?

I want to do a backup for my laptop but its tells me I have "corrupted files"
any suggestions?

Most probably a failing hard drive.

Can't remember what the software to test it is... so I'll leave it to an other member.

Edit: Just remebered. It's chkdsk.exe or something. Look at this:
How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)

Hey again MallyBob.

All major manufacturers of hard drives offer free diagnostic tools for their drives. Just visit their websites.

If you don't know your drive make, you can download and install SIW (System Information for Windows) and it will tell you more than you want to know.

Yup. Though as I previously said, run check disk.
From the command prompt:

chkdsk c: /f /r
A good idea would be to make a system image with Macrium:
