it might be related to the display driver?

I have my A60 in which is the 7000IGP from ATi. Windows 7 recognised it as "standard VGA". Since ATi and toshiba did not and will not produce drivers for the old machines, what i did is boot the machine into safe mode, then use "update driver" to install the xp display driver. It works, for me anyway.

hope it helps.

What brand and model of computer do you have?

Have you checked the "Power Options" in the Control Panel?

We need more information, please.
