Windows 7 and Microsorft Virtual PC 2007

I installed Windows 7 on a virtual pc 2007 partition. I cannot connect to the internet. Network diagnostics cannot repair the problem either. I show limited connectivity....what can I do?

The network adapter "Local Area Connection" does not have a valid IP configuration.

The original setup confused my router and network adapter and was mapped to the wrong one

Try running Windows Update as it will fetch the latest drivers for the MS virtual sound card, it seems to have done the trick for most people
