VirtualBox have released a new major update, which further increases the 3D capabilities of a virtual system. The biggest changes are:

Guest SMP with up to 32 virtual CPUs (VT-x and AMD-V only; see chapter 3.7.2.2 of the user manual)
Windows guests: ability to use Direct3D 8/9 applications / games (experimental; see chapter 4.8 of the user manual)
Support for OpenGL 2.0 for Windows, Linux and Solaris guests
If you are looking to use a virtual PC product to test out Windows 7 (or any other OS), this is the one I would recommend.

It's a really helpful tool, but doesn't run OSx86... :lol:
