    Hi,

I've been plagued with various BSODs over the last few weeks - I've put them in a zip and uploaded them. There's quite a few. They vary in error. One I had today said SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION; another athrusb.sys. In fact there have been various USB errors. I thought I managed to fix that by downloading some file from the Microsoft website, but apparently not. Any ideas? Thanks.

Edit1: Sorry, just read the sticky. My motherboard is the GA-X58A-UD3R. I believe it's revision 2.0. I'm also running 64-bit Windows, with 6GB RAM (I did notice something on the MS website a while ago about some .sys files moaning with more than 4GB)...

Edit2: Been looking around on the web, and it seems that wireless USB cards can cause problems. This would make sense as I started using mine not long before the BSODs first started occurring. Can someone confirm this? And perhaps give me some way of solving it without stopping using it.

    Hey there.

Your getting definite issues from your wireless adapter driver:

    Code:
Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

Visit the manufacturer's site of the adapter to download and install the latest driver. This one you have now is way too old for Windows 7:

    athrxusb athrxusb.sys Mon Jan 29 07:57:10 2007

    -------

Visit your motherboard manufacturer's site to update your Intel Matrix Storage driver to newest:

    iaStor iaStor.sys Thu Jun 04 21:53:40 2009

    ---------

Very important also to uninstall the notorious Daemon Tools. When done, then use this uninstaller/installer to carefully remove as opposed to update, the sptd.sys from the system:

    DuplexSecure - Downloads

Reboot and install PowerISO since it is perfectly stable for disc emulation and the emulation part of the software is free forever:

    http:/www.PowerISO.com

    ----------

    Enjoy! :)

    KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (1e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
    Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: fffff880068e9e23, The address that the exception occurred at
    Arg3: 0000000000000000, Parameter 0 of the exception
Arg4: ffffffffffffffff, Parameter 1 of the exception
