SOLVED System Restore Won't Restore

In Win 7 64 bit I tried to restore from the most recent four restore points and none of them will restore. I could keep trying and go back to many more earlier restore points, but I don't think they'll do me any good, plus after four tries shouldn't something work? Is there any way to get Restore to work?

Problem solved. Did a Google query and discovered my Norton 360 is the culprit. In 360 go to Settings/Quick Controls and turn off Norton Tamper Protection. After successful restore, turn the Tamper Protection back on. Or, just bypass Norton altogether and do a System Restore in Safe Mode.
