Solution to "BLANK SCREEN" after install

After installing Windows 7 beta, I had a blank screen with the windows 7 build number and "for testing purposes only" text in right hand corner. The installed went no further.
The problem is apparently due to not having the right video driver. Here is the summary of the solution after looking over several forums.

1. Restart you computer.

2. At the boot screen hit F8

3. Select "Enable low resolution video (640 X 480)"

4. Windows 7 will then start and complete the install.

5. Then follow with a Windows Update to get the right video driver and restart your computer (if needed).

There appears to be a question as to when to hit the F8 key. Hit the F8 at the following screen:




Do not select Windows 7 and then select F8 key since this will give you a totally different set of choices. Instead at the above screen hit the F8 key rather than the ENTER key.
