Today, I received an email from MBAM, asking me to participate in the 1.50 Beta, which will soon be our new version of MBAM. It's a vital part of my security portal, and one that everyone will find useful at some point.

The MBAM 1.50 public beta can be found at:

Enjoy!

PS: The new version is faster, has not caused any problems, BSOD's, etc.

Downloaded

Weird, IE8 wouldn't download it, even though I clicked the warning to Download the file 3 seperate times. Copied address into Opera and it downloaded it on the first try. I'll install it after uninstall the version I'm currently using in a little while. Thanks again for the info Cat.

The link works well with Firefox (3.6.12), I don't know about the other browsers, and how they work. Seems to be a flat out clickable link to me, but I don't use IE, and only use Opera on occasion.

But once you get it installed, you'll like it.

Got a BSOD during full scan

That EMET program I downloaded from Microsoft may have stopped the download. I installed it and updated it's definitions after uninstalling MBAM 1.46 and got a BSOD during a Full Scan. Sent the minidump to TorrnetG.
