internet explorer

suddenly my internet explorer doesn't open links in a new window even if i choose open in a new tap a new tap is open but it will be empty

i tried reinstall internet explorer didn't help

i don't want to reinstall windows

my operating system is windows7 32 bit

mon4012, have you tried an alternate browser? Such as Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome? Recently when I had to use IE, it was freezing, once in the middle of a 3GB download. I've avoided using it since.

See if that helps, if not, mabye your internet options are messed up somewhere, and you may need to reset everything to default.

Keep us posted, I don't think you should have to reinstall Windows over IE not working right.

Try and examine the default settings. Perhaps they have been altered in some way:

Open Internet Explorer on the computer and go to Tools - Internet Options. 3. Click the “Settings” button next to Tabs option.

Select “A new Window” and click OK. This is how it should look
