How to delete extended partition

If you mean when Windows 7 is installed to the same drive? Yes. you should be able to do this from the "Computer Management" -> "Disk Management" tool. But do be careful and know what you are doing before you start modifying system drive partitions. :)

I agree but caution ANYTIME you mess with the partitions, there is the potential for corruption of the drive - and the loss of all your data. So best bet is to backup all your data first.
