I have a system of 1 gb DDR2 ram by mistake i have installed 64 bit OS. Is there any way to get back to 32 bit OS without actually formatting it?

Note:- I haven't taken any backup

The answer to that I believe would be no. The only way to override that OS is to format the disk, and start from scratch unfortunately.

To go from 32 to 64 or from 64 to 32 always requires a complete installation.

Backup all your data (Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures, Videos, Contacts, Favorites) and reinstall. Going from 32 to 64 bit there is the Windows Easy Migration software to help with this backup but it is not possible to use it from 64 to 32 so you will simply need to copy your files manually.
