Failure in creating a directory

In doing a backup to an external hard drive I get this messgae:
There was a failure in creating a directory on the backup storage location. Access is denied"

How to fix?

This error indicates that you do not have enough space on the drive that Windows is trying to make a backup directory on, if this is the only location i would suggest introducing a external Hard Drive.

I see has the Ex HDD being chosen by Windows ?
