Enable Hardware Acceleration

Good day, I have a Sony VAIO Laptop which I reinstalled WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE on. It works perfectly but I'm not allowed to change the display settings in the "Troubleshoot" menu.

Right Click > Screen Resolution > Advanced Settings > Trouble shoot > But I can't select the change settings option.

I need this feature adjusted so that my Photoshop CS4 can work properly, it needs the hardware accelerator to give good quality. Can anyone help me please?

Some laptops can't handle hardware acceleration. Make sure you have the latest video driver from Sony installed.

It would be helpful if you told us the model number of your Sony VAIO.
