Okay, I know there's tutorials on how to do it but they do not work for me.

I am administrator on my accoount. I have installed and copied over the files for Killak and splint1 themes.

It says I need to copy over windowframe.dll and explorer.exe. It also says you must have permissions.

I've read a tutorial, tried it and it will not give me permissions.

Can someone help? These themes are really nice and I want them to look the way they are suppose to.

I've done everything possible. I even restart explorer.exe and yet it shows the same old explorer. I have a custom made orb but stilll why isn't the exploere changing. the regular windows 7 is like 1inch thick. The new theme is like half a cm tall. New icons and all, so why don't it work?

It is quite easy to take ownership if you have this,http://depositfiles.com/en/files/rz7avhaft
Just download and install he registry file the right click on the file you want ownership of a click Grant Admin Control.

Hi Detective RooTz - Welcome to w7forums

Have you tried disabling UAC?

Nice signature but taking up too much space.
Could you be a sport and select only one of them?
