My synaptics mouse driver got outdated and i tried to download a new one, After searching lots of links i found only for windows xp, Finally i found a link of your forums with 2 downloads for windows 7 64 bit and 32 bit, I tried to download 64 because my system is x86 but it didnt work (maybe i did something wrong) so i tried the 32 bit and it didnt work too, The only way i can get the synaptics driver back is to restore my computer since i have an hp one,
now i dont want to take that much effort to redownload all of my games and programs so i really want your help, Please give me a valid link for x86 or something like that.

Thank you

If you Windows OS is 32 bit, you shouldn't download anything that is for 64-bit.

Which download links did you try?
Can you tell us which thread you were following the links from?

Please fill in your System Specs, http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...tem-specs.html.

It is recommended to download drivers through the device's manufacturer's site to ensure it's up-to-date. Never use Device Manager if possible.

The latest drivers for both 64bit and 32bit Windows are officially provided here:
http://www.synaptics.com/resources/drivers

If you use this tool: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...tem-specs.html,
You will see your System Specs and whether you're using 32 bit or 64 bit.

Just FYI: x86 means it is 32-bit (so named for the old Intel 86 processor), if you have 64-bit then the drivers you need are x64.

HP 1430 Drivers
Select W7 64-bit and the driver under keyboard mouse & input devices that you need should be the ALPS Pointing Device Driver

I believe what need is the Synaptic TouchPad driver, not mouse driver.

You are using a notebook computer, correct?

Go to this link to download the Windows 7 64-bit driver: http://www.synaptics.com/resources/drivers
