I changed the number of recently opened programs 20 or 30. In Vista the Icons would automatically re-scale there size smaller to make that possible.
Why is that not happening in Windows 7?

Hello bluesmoke - Welcome to w7forums

I'm not familiar with Vista so I didn't know that was done to start with. I for one am glad Windows 7 does not do this. All the visual effect takes system resources. I would like to think it was taken out not to remove functionality but to speedup Windows 7.
