Standby is not working at all. If my computer goes into standby then it refuses to come out. The light will blink like it is in standby and then when I hit some buttons to awaken it, it starts to come on but nothing ever happends. The light quits blinking but the screen never comes on.

What driver controls standby or power stuff? Could I try something for vista to fix this? Is ACPI driver have anything to do with standby? Chipset driver? any other ideas?
