[SOLVED] spinning wait cursor

anyone know how to find a mac spinning wait cursor that i can use for windows

quick question. i changed the cursors in the mouse settings. but each time i restart the pc its back to the default aero pointers. anything im missing. should i put the pointers in the actual c:/windows/cursors folder

Another free site I've used for my Win 7 is "Cursor FX". The free options wont give you a Mac "beachball" but it has a few nice ones.. I use the raindrop myself.
I'm still new to 7 but as I recall there is a box you can tick (or untick) which prevents changes to settings in display.

That's what I would do, it should solve the problem for you.

Save your changes as a scheme and uncheck the box at the bottom that says "allow themes to change pointers".
