Has anyone given Windows 7 SP1 Beta a go?

It looks like the RC could be released in the next few days if rumors are true:

Meh - I don't think I'll even install the actual SP1.

Ian, yes. I think it was TorrentG or Cat...

Yeah, it's perfectly stable on all my machines here, running great.

23 and 3/8 days current uptime on my main machine that I do everything on:

TorrentG, how come your Windows is marked as an evaluation copy? Haven't you registered yet?

Uh... You mean that once you install SP1 beta, your install is considered a trial?!

One more resin for me not to install SP1 beta!

No, the beta install is considered a trial. You can uninstall it and everything reverts to normal. When the SP1 goes gold, the beta has to be uninstalled anyhow to allow for that to install.

Makes perfect sense, since MS doesn't want people 3 years from now installing and using SP1 beta.

If I download and install this beta, what features, patches, or other benefits will I be able to make use of that I haven't gotten through Windows Update?

True. But dies that mean that the official release will be in March 2011? Or is that just the end of the beta.

March for SP1 seems kinda long.

Edit: Core, I don't think there is anything new. Just updates for lazy guys.
