Slow internet connection

I just installed comodo firewall onto a new install of windows. Now the internet connection is really slow, even after I uninstalled the firewall. Even booted up in safe mode with networking, the result is the same. Any ideas are welcomed and very much appreciated!

Do you have other PCs on the network that are able to browse faster? It could just be a temporary ISP problem.

Can you post what your DownStream Connection Speed and UpStream Connection Speed is ? these are found in your Router / Modem Settings (type your IP address in to your Browser address bar and click GO or hit Enter on your keyboard), then you will need to enter Name and Password to access.

Have you tried the Windows built in Troubleshooting program? Go to Control Panel > Troubleshooting > and under the Network and Internet click the Connect to the internet link and go through it.
