I'm noticing on my clean install of the RC that IE8 is slow to respond, especially when I click the new page tab in the tab bar, or click a link on one page to be opened in a new tab.
I just installed FF 3.0.10 and I'm not seeing any similar delays.

Are there features of IE8 I can be disabling to see if performance improves. I never noticed this behaviour with previous Win7 builds.

It seems ok on my version James, it loads in around the same time as previous builds (and Vista). As it's a clean install I guess there are no plugins that could be causing it.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I know it's been a while, but yes. Opening new tabs or windows takes forever. I have time to make a cup of coffee while IE8 decides to open the requested item, AND release the rest of the system.

Clean install, so maybe there is a problem with IE8 that came with Win7?
