The sleep mode problems seem to have gotten worse. BSOD now!
Below is my problem report to Microsoft.

Quote:
The problem is created by a faulty "resume from sleep".
Other problems caused by the same issue are, USB devices are either not recognized or they are listed as "device has failed".
Mouse freezes, screen freezes, BSOD, keyboard freezes; all directly related to Sleep Mode.
The problems occur more often and are more severe in nature since switching from Build 7100 to 7600.

Hi,
since installing the 64bit RTM Build 7600 I have noticed three out of 10 starts my USB Devices are not recogonised this was due to the ReadyBoost not being awaken by sleep mode.Try taking the tick out of the Allow this computer to turn off these devices,in Administrator mode if fails re boot and check your Bios default settings if you have the latest Bios 7600 runs well I do agree there is an issue here & microsoft are (as you said) working on a patch for this error and will have the battery problem fix first (SO I HEAR)
regards
Jeffreyobrien
